| Member Since: Aug 13, 2007 Gender: Unknown Goal Type: Unknown Running Accomplishments: Completed a half marathon (mostly walking). Short-Term Running Goals: Jog a 5k in under 37 minutes. Lose a few extra pounds along the way. Make it to the top of Mount Timpanogas and hopefully back next year. Long-Term Running Goals: Stay within 10 lbs of my husbands disgustingly low weight. Personal: I am a mother of four kids ranging in age from 15 to 3. Thus the extra weight that I need to lose. I am a military spouse who has thus lived all over the place. We have been married for 18 years. I'm a Wogger. Meaning I walk/jog. I would not call it running and I only joined the FastRunningBlog because my husband ArmyRunner made me and Sarah threatened to try and convince me also.

| | I actually jogged for 4.1 miles and then walked .9 miles along the Provo River trail. My longest continous run in my life. It was painful and slow but I did it. | Comments(5) |
| | 4.5 miles wogging on Provo River trail. My shins are very sore. I think I over did it yesterday. | Comments(2) |
| | just did a brisk 5 mile walk in order to give my shins a chance to heal. They feel much better this evening. I know I must be getting in better shape because this walk seemed quite easy. | Comments(1) |
| | I wogged 4 miles up in provo canyon. I took Jordan in the stroller with me. pushing an extra fifty pounds in front of me up hill wasn't easy. Down hill it was a breeze. Starting next week I get to bring him along most of the time. Yipee!!! | Comments(1) |
| | oops I got behind on blogging. I did 5 miles easy pace on the lower part of Provo canyon. | Add Comment |
| | hiked the Y trail with Jared. This work out let me know how far I have to go to be truely in shape. That trail is steep!! | Add Comment |
| | 2 miles in the morning walking Jared to school. It seemed a lot easier pushing the stroller up our hill than last school year but it is still not fun. 2 miles jogging . did the first mile with jared in about 10:30 minutes but it just about killed me. Once again I wonder why I am doing this to myself. I did the 2nd mile in 12:10. Ted thinks I can do a 5k next month in under 36 minutes but I am not so sure I can sustain the pace yet. | Add Comment |
| | 5 miles easy on the provo river trail. Pushed the stroller. Jordan gets bored on these walks. | Add Comment |
| | walked down to the school, jogged 2 miles and hen walked the hill by by house. Pushing the stroller up near rock canyon park is quite a work out. Either my back will get in to great shape or I'll end up in traction. | Add Comment |
| | walked to and from school in the morning then jogged a mile with Jared in the afternoon. After that I jogged all out as fast as I could go at the awe inspiring pace(ha, ha) of 10:08. | Comments(4) |
| | 5 miles at a slow wog. 15 minute miles. | Add Comment |
| | just took an evening stroll up the hill from my house and back down. Did a loop around windsor street. A stroll is better than nothing I suppose. | Comments(3) |
| | Just a mix of jogging walking near the waterfall. jordan likes to get out a run with me occasionally but he stops every time he sees anything interesting. | Add Comment |
| | Ran a practice 5k to start out today. Thank you sarah for watching Jordan and making this possible. I ran a 36:36. The first mile was only a 12:27 because I am really slow til I get a little warmed up. the next mile was 11:39 and the 3rd was 11:35. then I sprinted(for me) the last .1 in 55 seconds. I walked/jogged the rest after i caught my breath. Sarah said I don't need to run the race on monday because I already met my goal. My crazy husband says I should run a sub 35. ( as I said CRAZY) | Comments(3) |
| | I convinced my neighbor who just moved in and is getting used to the altitude to walk with me by the lake. A nice easy walk which I needed because my calves and shins were pretty tight from yesterdays work out. | Add Comment |
| | Yes I said 8 miles. I do not know what on earth possed me to wog 8 miles, with a stroller, ending with a mile straight up the hill to my house. Averaged just under 15 minute miles but I am paying for it now. My legs feel fine and I knew I would be tired but I never knew that my back could feel so sore and still retain the ability to walk. Stupid aren't I? I should have given myself a couple more weeks pushing the stroller on average walks before trying anything so ambitious. I am ever so grateful for painkillers!! | Comments(3) |
| | I only had about 50 minutes to work out while Ted was getting ready for work.( He watched Jordan so I didn't have to push the stroller.) did 14 min. miles on the hills. 2 hilly workouts in a row. I felt good this morning all things considering but this afternoon my shins and hip are sore. Too many hills I am sure. | Comments(1) |
